Terra walked her big black Friesian stallion into the arena she stroked his head and he dropped it to the ground to sniff "ok Jake lets do this right " the horse lifted his head and watched her as the let him go and backed away then she slowly brought her hand down "bow Jake bow" her voice was soft and the horse got down on his knees she giggled and brought her hand back up "up stand up "she watched as the stallion got up and then stood on his hind legs "walk" she yelled this one and the horse started to walk on his hind legs "ok take a brake boy" the horse came down on all fours and started to lay down once he got down she walked over and sat on his back "ok up" the stallion got up and stood there she looked over the where the ball was in the ring she used her legs to take him to it then she said "push "the horse pushed the ball and she giggled she kicked off her boots and then stood up she kissed telling Jake it was ok to move faster "rail Jake rail" the horse moved to the rail and worked along it she kissed again and the horse broke into a canter she giggled as she stood on his back. all the things she did with this stallion and he would never belong to another person she sat down and stopped him "ok Jake lets work with the bridle" the horse shook his head no and she giggled "yes come on" she walked and he fallowed her to the fence she opened the gate and said "bath" he walked over to the cross ties and she brushed him and combed his main and tail she didn't want to ride till her horse was clean so she just stood there brushing him in the soft summer wind.

Justin saw the girl brushing the stallion and he looked back at his mare "what do you think of that kc" he smiled when the mare pushed him "hey are you about to ride" he asked the younger girl she was small to him the stallion looked at the mare and whinnied the mare looked at him and shook her head Justin smiled at the girl and put the mare in the cross ties across from the other two and smiled "um im Justin nice to meet you " he bowed to her and smiled again "im new here mind showing me around when we are done here.

Terra looked at the boy she was wishing there would be no people around to watch her do her stuff but it wasn't really working out for her now was it "ya i was about to ride and i guess i could show you around when we are done" she looked back to her stallion "easy buddy don't get your hopes up" she pet the stallion and her lowered his head to hers and rested it on his. she smiled at the stallion and then walked to the tack room. she picked up her small english saddle and her bridle then walked out and tacked up the horse she giggled when he tried to take the saddle off and bobbed his head making a funny noise with his lips. she looked over at the boy and the mare "by the way my name is Terra" she turned to the stallion "and this is Jake " she held her hand up and snapped and the stallion stood up strong and tall.

he felt kind of unwanted by the way the girl looked at him he looked at the stallion closely then turned to his mare she was paying no mind to the large horse in front of her only her rider he smiled and walked into the tack room behind her he picked up the barrel saddle and pads and bridle and tacked up his horse "this is kc and nice to meat you Terra" he slung the rains around the mares neck and walked her into the arena he got on the horse and started to work her around flexing her neck and body

she watched him the mare was a beautiful horse she walked with her stallion into the ring "down"the stallion dropped to his knees and she got on she worked his neck and body the went to the rail and started at a fast trot then worked her way into a slow canter she spoke to him softly and his head stayed tucked under him "pick up " her voice was strong now and the stallion lifted his legs into a nice small circle at the canter then came out of it "good boy Jake good boy" she came beside the boy who was still walking around "are you going to work her or not" she asked the boy wondering if he knew how

he watched her dance around the ring with the stallion his big body was so perfect as he cantered around in a circle then up to them she asked him if he was going to work his horse he laughed "i don't work her before i run barrels then she is to tired to run" he patted the horse on the neck and smiled "so can i set them up" he looked at the stallion "or will he freak out" he smiled at the girl

she looked at him like he insulted her "of cores you can put them up im not stopping you" she kicked Jake into a canter and the horse bobbed his head "sorry boy but that made me mad" she stood on the other side of the ring away from the boy the stallion kicked at the flies but didn't move one inch from where he was supposed to stand she pet his neck "good boy Jake good boy"

he stood there and thought to himself "oops" he got off and looked at the mare "stand" he turned and walked away the mare stood there as he set up the barrels he smiled and then in a louder voice "come here" the mare took off in a canter and stopped right in front of him he smiled and got on "ok girl lets do this" he walked the mare down to the end of the ring and the turned the mare took of after the barrels she turned the first second and third then took off home finally ending in a sliding stop he turned and looked at the girl "can your horse do that" he smiled and even laughed some

She was hating him at this point and soon was hoping her stallion was in the mood for some competition.She clucked him into a trot and was soon at the end of the arena.She stopped him and turned him to face the barrels,he looked at then and let out a long sigh.She clucked to him and he took off at a full sprint to the first one and turned it on a dime.She growled at him and was soon to the second and then the third.He cleared both and was soon bolting home.He had a little more trouble stopping but soon stopped and snorted.She turned to look back up at the boy and smiled,"There happy now".She stuck her nose up into the air and let the stallion walk to catch his breath.She pet his neck and talked to him softly,"Good boy Jake that's such a good boy",the stallion nickered and tossed his head in response.

He knew he was not in the right at that point and walked over to her,"Hey sorry im just trying to prove im a good enough rider to be in the same ring as you".He reached out a hand,"That was a very nice run you had there".He hoped she would forgive him and allow him to be friends with him.His mare sniffed the stallion and nibbled his neck softly.He wasn't that bad of a guy he just wanted someone to ride with that would treat him like a man.He pet the mare softly and waited for her to respond his eyes shining.He offered a slight smile and looked at his hand as if to say don't worry i don't bite.He looked at the stallion and mare and then back up to Terra,"See they can be friends why cant we",he flashed another smile.
